October 26, 2022 - I last had this wine 3 years ago, and while I liked it then, it's even better now. Delicious and well integrated purple fruit, baking spice, and a solid streak of acidity on the finish. The fruit is front and center but it's well balanced and a joy to drink. Has the structure to maintain for a few years but I would drink now if I had another as it's in a wonderful place.

November 5, 2021 - Had with turkey chili. Very inky and dense. Mild nose of chocolate and graphite. While a good wine with very rich food this wine is not very layered or complex.

May 30, 2021 - Drinking beautifully right now. Deep purple. Dark fruits and a little butadiene on the nose. Blackberry juice and soft tannins. Medium-to-long finish. Completely irresistible. Wish I had more.

April 2, 2020 - Rich dark fruit in a rustic Rhone field blend. This bottle was a little disappointing compared to previous bottles. Probably time to drink up.

December 25, 2019 - Inky purple. Smelled like a mature American Syrah but killed a classic Zin style. Plenty of life left in it. Fantastic with Christmas ham and capelettis. Crowd pleaser.
