December 23, 2017 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like tobacco, raisin and black currant (cassis). It tastes like oak, vanilla, black pepper and alcohol/hot. The body is medium/full. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

May 30, 2015 - A lot of dark fruit. Rough, animal, some spice. Medium body, very present soft dry tannins. Perfect match to a rustic red wine beef stew in late October or a rainy cold May evening as today. 5-11-14-7.
