October 9, 2023 - Bought at an auction. IN with perfect cork. At first very sour and not very drinking friendly. I decided to leave the bottle aside for two hours. It was a good choice as the sourness dissipated ans gave place to very nice tertiary flavors.
So based on this experience I'd recommend decanting the wine a couple of hours before drinking. I also think that the wine is fully mature and should be drunk now

February 19, 2022 - Very ripe nose, kirsch, blackberry, dark spices, leatther and earth. Excellent concentration, nicely layered black fruit, rich, medium acidity, earthy mineral, and a medium to long ripe black fruit driven finish. Still quite youthful. Not showing much secondary/tertiary notes like tobacco.

May 1, 2020 - Pretty great CdP. A bordeaux ruby purple color with no orange. The nose is full of mushroom and earth combined with berry fruit and crushed rock. The palate is velvety, long and balanced. Old school. Like the best Pegau vintages. Not going to get any better. Enjoy. Not for vintage/label drinkers but if you like CDP, one to look out for as the price is very fair. (97)
