December 24, 2022 - This port is not yet mature! Still quite strong tannins and alcohol. Lots of potential though. Cellar for another decade.

August 14, 2021 - Deep red colour (but no longer purplish or compact). Nose with red berries, dried red berries and prunes, some spice and perfume, hints of developed notes. Medium body and concentration, red berries and prunes, quite good acidity, comes across as slightly less sweet than many vintage ports. The aftertaste is quite long,
A decent and balanced vintage port that has more or less come into its maturity. Not quite as concentrated or backward as many other 2000s. 89 pts. -

December 17, 2020 - Tasted first in a flight of decennials (2000, 1990, 1980, 1970x2 and 1960) of different houses (Burmester was represented from 2000 and 1970).
Ruby red color, showing some age.
More mature than I expected but still quite young. Raisins, spices and figs, dark ripe fruit. Well balanced. Good length. Promising - can be opened now but will surely improve for many years to come. -

Slightly alcoholic - but with lots of fruit and body.
Keep and cellar further.
