  October 6, 2017 - shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. paired with sushi from mizu. nine years from the vintage, this bottle demonstrates remarkable longevity. not at all tired. we have enjoyed domaine carneros in many vintages and have never been disappointed. a very reliable producer. also offers good value at an attractive price point. the wine benefits from tiny persistent bubbles. there is a hint of yeast which i particularly enjoy in a sparkler. ample fruit. medium finish. need to re-stock the cellar with current vintages.

  February 14, 2015 - Vibrant straw yellow color with a persistent mousse. Gala apple, biscuit and pear notes. Citrus, stone, pear and biscuit qualities on the palate with a nice finish. 89-90 pts.

  December 23, 2013 - One of the better domestic sparklers I've had. Great QPR. great nose of green apple + some browned apple, pear, lime, and a light breadiness. Taste was solid with great mousse, solid acidty, maturing flavors of brown apple, green apple, light marshmellow, nice minerality, and some light toffee with a really long and nice finish.
