March 26, 2024 - Highly concentrated and still fairly primary. Notes of lanolin/beeswax, grilled hazelnuts. Beautiful and distinctive but with 20+ years ahead. Still pale, no oxidation/colour change yet.

March 6, 2024 - During a MOT walkabout tasting, no detailed notes. Rich and oily, it already had oxidative notes. NR

    November 6, 2023 - Stunning - simply stunning.

Perfect drinking now but also for many years to come. A nice glowing golden yellow indicating energy radiating from within. And the bouquet is simply on steroid - minerals, schist, honeysuckle and white perfume notes. Lovely texture and one with real depth of complexity that keeps on evolving in the mouth, with waves and waves of........... Lovely acidity. Stupendous finish with pear, green apple and lingering minerals.

    Drink now to 10+ years.

May 14, 2023 - magnifique d'ampleur et longueur. encore de l'acidité et de l'énergie malgré une perte de tension le lendemain.

May 8, 2023 - 1 hour of air. Wow, a spectacular white Hermitage, very enjoyable now but probably with a little more development ahead - but only a little, so there is no harm in having this now.
The initial smells are a powerful smell of seashore, and then a lot of honeysuckle, anise and pear (?) assert themselves. Surreally good mouthfeel: lanolin and beeswax. Palate matches the great promise of of the bouquet. Sublime more than attention seeking. Why don’t I have white hermitage more often? This is awesome.
Score: 95-96. Relative to expectations: +++
