  October 8, 2018 - Almost identical to note posted on 08/28. Really pretty classic cali cab, this gained a little weight and was showing a little more with an hour in the decanter. Seems to have more time left than CT estimates.

  August 28, 2018 - This wine smells of black cherry, cola, chocolate, a little oak, and maybe a little cassis. The palate really does follow the nose, with an emphasis on the cherry, cassis, cola and some spice. This tastes very much like a Cali cab, but everything is reduced and much lighter than you might expect. Pretty classic in style, this is a good wine to introduce your friends to Napa without shocking their taste buds. I like this wine more than I expected and if you're looking for a last minute, pnp cali cab, this may be your wine. Really quite nice, if a little soft.
