January 6, 2013 - This Cab was suggested as having big elements, yet refined. There was really nothing wrong with it, but it lacked the character of either a big Cali Cab (okay, I know it's from Santa Barbara), but didn't have the nuances that the So. Cal climate can impart to the grape. The refined tannins are certainly very food friendly, but the it lacked the power of this year's normal crop. Not sure that this would develop that well, but it may help to develop those nuances.
