November 18, 2011 - I opened this wine last night and was a bit disappointed. I popped the cork again tonight and OMG! The nose was deep and complex. The introduction to the tongue was heavy and smooth. Rich tannin's filled my mouth but were not offensive or overpowering. And the finish was long and satisfying.
I brought out some aged Gouda and Prosciutto and it just got better and better. Hello weekend!
