  June 13, 2020 - Last Chrysalis Vintage I have enjoyed and the only one really since first visiting the winery in the late 90's. This wine aged well, with plenty of balanced fruit and acidity. Wish I had more of it.

  September 14, 2014 - Surprisingly good. As another taster mentioned, seems like a Pinot Gris, but to me has more personality. Cantaloupe, pear, jasmine, and a refreshing citrusy note that translates to the palate as crisp, seeming almost effervescent without going tart like many lean whites can. Perhaps a tiny hint of residual sugar to enrich the mouthful but maintain a "dry" wine. Second night picked up some background oak that had completely eluded us the first night. Not an intellectual wine, but very tasty.

  December 28, 2013 - Slightly lean with some honeysuckle in the aromatics. Palate has nice acidity with flavors more like Pinot Gris and a nice finish. Reminds me of an entry level Chablis. Must admit I was expecting something ripe & flabby, but this is nice. This winery always does well with it's white wines. No oak detected. Best without food.

  October 7, 2013 - Unoaked and uninteresting, with crisp green apples, hints of minerals, some sweetness.

  March 8, 2013 - crisp apple and pear, light oak finish. Good wine for those who prefer pinot grigio and reiling rather than heavily oaked CA chardonnay.
