    April 1, 2024 - Tasted alongside a 2018.
Aside from a more garnet color, the flavor and aroma were surprisingly similar.
Good acidity, decent fruit, and moderate tannins.

August 18, 2021 - Behold…another finely aged Texas red wine! Holding on to this one did test our patience, but the reward was well worth it. Let’s just say savoring every drop is an understatement for this jewel. Those rich blackberry notes with hints of tobacco are still quite amazing. This red wine has a very nice and rich velvet like feel to it. The smooth texture is incredible and those acids balance things out perfectly. You will still want juicy meats to pair with those lingering tannins to make your mouth happy, so load up! If you have any bottles left in your cellar, consider yourself lucky. Feel free to enjoy one now as it is drinking nicely. Cin Cin!

September 1, 2019 - No issues with this wine. Aging quite nicely. Could easily sit a few more years. Love the flavors!

December 30, 2013 - Very attractive. Smooth with right balance of fruit and tannins. Compares very favorably with Italina versions. Highly recommended.
