October 1, 2023 - Just inching towards maturity. Texturally and aromatically arresting. Digesting the sugar nicely. Stone fruit, white peach nectar, and just a flush of just bitter honey underlain by salty/tangy soil notes. Impressive length and expansive breadth here. Bright and tart and vibrant. Goddamn this is pretty and carries emotional weight. I love Vollenweider and this displays his uncanny ability to meld terroir, vintage, ripeness, and (corny as it sounds) love. Beautiful man and a brilliant winemaker.

January 15, 2015 - Big honey and vanilla tones on the nose. The palate was creamy with some spice tones, honeydew, and apricot. In a perfect world, the acidity would have been a bit bigger, but this is delicious.
