Community Tasting Notes 4

  • iByron Likes this wine: 85 points

August 7, 2014 - Deep salmon orange in the glass. Big sweet floral nose. Palate a bit more shy giving honeysuckle and spiced orange. Medium light body, moderate acidity, and a hint of subtle tannins on the short finish.

May 20, 2014 - A nice effort at old world italian methods but falls short on execution. Probably could double as bug spray.

June 1, 2013 - Nose of a dessert wine but off tasting fruit juice in the mouth

June 26, 2012 - The nose was intoxicating and ever-changing, like a floral perfume that draws you in with aromas of peach, ginger preserves, danylion, brown sugar, honey and herbal tea leaves. On the palate, it showed brisk acidity with inner floral notes, minerals and dried apricot, yet it lost some of its momentum toward the close and finished clean and weightless.
