October 16, 2013 - Very good - will probably settle at bit to get even better....

May 4, 2013 - Light yellow with a green shimmer --- Nose grassy, herbal, mineralic, some gooseberry, some green tea, some citrus notes --- Palate fresh, vivid, hay, herbs, gooseberry and citrus again, minerality, mountain creek water, tea aspects, elegant tartness --- Finishes on tart notes, citrus notes and bark. Somehow it competes with New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs in its pleasing factor but is much more terroire accented, offers more depth and individuality. This is a stylish European answer to crowd pleasing new world Sauvignon Blancs.

March 16, 2013 - A nicely balanced well rounded and elegant sancerre. Lovely gooseberry with gentle citrus acid background. A very enjoyable wine. Despite the elegant and softer roundness of flavour it stood up beautifully to spicy asian dishes.

February 24, 2013 - More New Zealand-ey this one. Bit grassier and gooseberry. Seems more comfortable in itself too. Touch sweeter perhaps? Enjoyable, though perhaps as mineral as I would have liked.

November 16, 2012 - Lovely, clean & citrussy to start, then developed some welcome complexity, including a most unusual and beguiling lavender note on the palate. Yum.
