April 5, 2014 - A bit of age on the nose. musty, raisin, herbs. Might be passing its prime, might just be this bottle; cork crumbled a little. On the palate comes chocolate, pine and rich dark berries. Great mouth feel. Finishes with bright fruit and tannin.

August 24, 2013 - Excellent petit sirah, fruit from contra costa county. Almost no tannins, balanced fruit and acid. Paired with avocado bruschetta and kale bruschetta. Nice!

February 4, 2011 - Wow! Great nose. The cork top was almost black. The wine is amazingly dark. Wonderful black fruit flavors. Awesome! One of the top Petites I've ever had.
