August 24, 2013 - Pleasantly surprised. I have always enjoyed Davis Zins but assumed it was too late for this bottle. Happy to be wrong. Lovely notes of cherries but only faint black pepper that sometimes overwhelms other zins.

July 11, 2005 - This is a big, earthy Zin with a voluptous mouthfeel Dense, rich flavor - mostly blackberry. Still some tannins. Good, long finish. Very nice with a grilled steak.
