April 6, 2017 - Fairly light OR Pinot considering hot '09 vintage. Black cherry, strawberry, baking spices, hint of forest floor. Nicely reserved.
October 6, 2014 - Nice Oregon Pinot, with typical flavors. Did notice a hint of cork glue. Note that SB used a composite cork, not a solid cork. For a wine of this price, disappointing. Do not let any SB wines go beyond 5 or 6 years for fear of the cork deteriorating.
July 31, 2013 - Willamette Valley Oregon Trip 4 & 1/2 Days; 7/29/2013-8/4/2013 (Willamette Valley, Oregon): This had a nice mix of spices, earth, tobacco, and cherries with nice balance. Smooth texture.
June 2, 2013 - Day Trip to the Willamette Valley (Willamette Valley, Oregon): Wonderful nose. Mix of earth, baking spices, and tobacco. Pie cherry flavors with subtle oak and earth notes.
January 10, 2013 - initial buzz seemed to indicate a wine before its time;this dissapated after a half hour or so but tightness remained throughout the evening;this would have been better left in the cellar
