May 29, 2017 - 750ml; PnP, decanted and drank over a couple hours. Semi-opaque dark garnet color without signs of aging. A good wine in a good place right now - lots of dark plum and black currant flavors, green pepper component might be too much for some, hints of spice, integrated tannins, and better than expected acidity. Drink now or hold for another few years.

May 6, 2013 - The three that had this blind took a taste (not knowing even what type of wine) and immediately said "this is great what is it?" They were all shocked to hear it was a Merlot and one even said it was the best wine they have had this year. It has entered a very good drinking window yet the tannins are still there for ageing potential. A wonderful full bodied Merlot.
