August 6, 2022 - Gorgeous nose, similarly to the Ganevat Mon Pere next to it, the first whiff is all you need! All of the wild berries one can think of, forest floor, dark cherry, and generally very Pinot-like on the nose. The palate has nice acidity with more cherries, wild strawberries, underwood, and a bit of candied fruit. Long finish. Excellent wine, even better than last time I had it. If someone blinded me and told me this was a young Grand Cru Burgundy from a natural producer, I would believe them.

August 9, 2021 - Wine is a little murky likely unfiltered, with a slight reduction notes to start which faded over time.
It was blinded and everyone thought it was a Burgundy Pinot. It was pleasant to drink.
Great notes of strawberry and raspberry on the notes unfortunately a little short on the palate. That leads me to believe this is not going to involve with more aging.
I'd say this is on par with an OK 1er cru Volnay or decent village. however given the current price in the states ($200+), I wouldn't purchase more of it. -

February 1, 2021 - Nose is all red fruit - red cherry, red berries, with sous bois, mushroom, spices. If blinded I could almost see mature Vosne. On the palate it’s definitely got a natty funk, and the finish is detracted with a bit of mousiness. Overall brilliant acidity and structure with a beautiful texture and mouthfeel. It’s really delicious stuff, but I gotta wonder - when you buy a bojo, do you want a bojo or do you want a ‘Burgundian’ red? At the price these L’ultimes command, are you better off just buying a good Burg?

May 9, 2020 - Captivating nose of red berries, leather, cherries, game, as well as some feral notes. Great balance on the palate with medium+ acidity, good structure, and lots of berry/fruit flavors. Long finish. This is an outstanding Beaujolais that kept improving in the glass with air. Clearly natural in feel, with tons of complexity and length that keeps it interesting. I loved it!
