March 8, 2020 - A nice experience for the value point. Still carrying blackberry/cassis fruit with a touch of chocolate. Nice firm silky tanning. Will still age for a few years but definitely ready to drink now.

November 13, 2019 - this turned out to be a very good bottle that showed well enough fruit and lovely secondary aromas of tobacco, clove, spice box, cedar. just lovely.

July 2, 2019 - this was a surprise. the cork and label looked very good as if the bottle had been reconditioned, maybe some time in the late 90s if i had to guess, and if i'm right..

i know from experience bordeaux has a shockingly long life, even for fairly inexpensive bottles, but it still shocks me a bit when they are so balanced and on point, as if they've just been quietly waiting for me this night to open them and delight in their character and charm...

i guess that's exactly what they've been doing.

September 20, 2018 - The bouquet is too ripe,a bit caramel, soft & friendly midtaste; some bitters at the end. Considering the vintage and age it was nice to taste this wine.

February 16, 2014 - still youthful dark red
Bouquet: red and black currants, some blackberry, old leather, dark bread, mint, some cocoa and wet wood.
Palate: juicy, medium body, still a nice red and blackberries fruit aromas, very balanced sweetness and supporting acidity, silky woven tannins, very nice claret, mint, leather, spice tea, very good structure, oddly elegant and on the tongue a juicy finesse showing, in fact, a great wine.
Finish: medium long, herbaceous, red berry and earthy,
