September 8, 2014 - Appearance is deep intensity purple colour. Sediments.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of blackberry, plums, dark cherries, licorice, some perfumed flowers. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, velvety medium+ tannins, full body. Pronounced flavor intensity, with flavours of blackberry, plums, dark cherries, licorice, spice. Medium+ finish.
Very good quality. Very nice easy drinking and the bottle was finished easily between two. Drink now, and over the next 5 years. -

August 18, 2013 - Poured through Vinturi into a decanter. Surprised to find lots of sediments in the strainer for such a young wine.
Deep purple colour.
Mild perfumed floral nose.
Hints of spice from the Shiraz on the palate, with lots of fruitiness in the body and the slight nice sour finish I have come to associate with Mataro from Teusner. Smooth in the mouth, with a long finish. Long wine legs, but the 14.5% alcohol was not apparent. Full-bodied but yet easy drinking.
Good value for money. -
Double-A Likes this wine: 88 points
November 27, 2012 - Spicy and peppery currant and cocoa nose and flavours. Youthful, dark fruit finish.
