October 28, 2022 - Aromas of toast, stone fruit, aniseed and Williams pear with brown spices and yellow apple rising.
Full-bodied entry with a New world boldness and ripeness. A crisp, firm acid stretches throughout the palate and the core is filled with peach melba, poached pears, spiced nectarine, mango flesh and plenty of toasty oak. There his a creamy oatmeal texture underneath the wine complexing it. Blind, one could almost feel this is a ripe baked SA Chenin Blanc with its plump breadth, buttered toast and spices. The wine is far more that exotic, almost California expression and not the mineral style I prefer but this is a well made example. Certainly intense but not necessarily concentrated the finish is long with spice, aniseed and even fennel fronds all pushed forward by the bracing acidity.

July 30, 2016 - Honey, exotic fruit and oak notes on the nose, velvety texture and lots of exotic fruit, apples and a long ending with grapefruit and minerals, excellent wine that opened up more on day 2, will save some bottles a few more years.

October 10, 2014 - Otippat bra! Öppen fin doft med äpple, persika, honung och mineral. I smaken smörig och fin men med väldigt ren bra syra.
