  March 26, 2009 - Dark and fruity. Blackberry jam. Tannins very faint. Mid-weight and balanced.

  April 27, 2008 - This wine is past. It had no fruit or anything to it. It had not gone bad, but it was very dull. So with steaks, I had to open another bottle. We set it aside and drank it cold the next night.

  July 20, 2007 - Very slightly less body than I remember a year ago, possibly indicating a slow downhill slide. Maybe just over the crest. Drink up!

  August 12, 2006 - Beautiful nose of black currant, blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of cedar. Midweight on the palate; tannins are smooth, drinking very well. I have not had one in over a year, and am glad I opened it. A few bottles left still have a couple to three years to enjoy for sure. These are my first notes to be based on a careful comparison using my new Wine Enthusiest aroma kit. 8/12/06.
