June 17, 2023 - This has always been a very good wine. Opened it for a group of friends and everyone was very happy to taste and drink this wine.
The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant, black currant (cassis), raisin, plum and stoniness. It tastes like black currant (cassis), raisin, plum, pomegranate and stoniness. The body is medium/full. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes long.

March 3, 2013 - Wine took an hour to open up to anything notable on the nose and palate. Eventually began getting maraschino cherry and a very pleasant smoke on the nose. Expected palate to be dominated by tannins and heat but far from the case. Much lighter body than anticipated with cherry notes continuing on the palate along with black tea, black pepper and cumin. Quite drinkable for the price.

January 2, 2013 - Not the best year for this wine

October 28, 2012 - PNP Pleasant earthy cherry/plumb nose. Opened up after a short time in the glass. Med light body and finish, very easy drinking, but not much structure as the 2nd day wasn't as good and the tannins were faded, but it is a good wine for what it is.
