February 18, 2022 - No excitement here. Toasted notes, some fruit, lacking character and too much volatile alcohol for my liking. A mouthful of fruit, but lacking definition. The soft tannins are not holding much, the acid balance is ok. Length is barely average. Similar to a bottle we had 18 months ago. Not worth the price. Still have 3 bottles of this vintage, so I’m hoping for a magical rebirth.

December 7, 2021 - Zeer donkerrood, bijna zwart van kleur, gesloten spiegel. In de geur licht notig en aards. In de mond koffie, cacao, zwarte kers en bospaddenstoelen. Krachtige tannines, milder zuren. Stevig mondgevoel, bite, beetje boers. Echet eetwijn.

April 24, 2021 - From magnum decanted one hour. Medium bodied and well balanced. Good structure and black fruit, smooth tannins. Really enjoyable wine. ***
