July 11, 2023 - Drank last nite at Oaxacan restaurant in Gowanus, Bklyn for MP birthday. ($50 corkage was outrageous, but excellent restaurant).
Very floral nose, along with petrol aromas. White fruit, solid, if not biting acidity, fairly big-bodied nonetheless. Nice petrol and fruit here; drinking quite well and held up nicely vs the spicy food accompaniments.

January 21, 2019 - tasted side by side with the 2001, the 2004 has a ways to go but is a really nice spatlese. Appealing floral fruit on the nose. Much more primary on the palate than the 2001, and a bit monolithic in comparison. Interesting flavor palate of pears and lime with just the right amount of slate. The good news is superb acid that balances out the fruit nicely and bodes for more development.

April 1, 2017 - Rich gold. Tropical fruit and spice nose. Sweet, good mouthfeel, smooth, but lacks acidity and finish. Opened up a bit with some air.

December 26, 2015 - Floral apple nose. Primary fruit flavors of pear, starfruit, orange and lime, with slate and petrol. Acidity and sweetness well in check. Even better on Day 3 - the petrol notes in this wine are really coming through.

January 20, 2015 - More mature than last time. Mellower but still very enjoyable. Acid and sweetness are in good balance. It definitely tamed the heat of a cemita Poblana.
