November 3, 2005 - Tasted at the winery. Eight months of neutral barrel. Nice Cabernet flavors and smells, lightly floral with cassis and notes of dark berries. The palate is restrained with nice minerality, a hint of charcoal, linear fruit, yet very clean, juicy, fresh and varietally correct Cabernet. It opened up a bit over the course of 15 minutes and seems pretty approachable already. Enjoyable.
