Community Tasting Notes 2

March 5, 2014 - A bit too dry for my taste as a stand alone drinker. First time around I had this paired with a corn chowder and thought it went down much smoother.

(Ridge Carignane Rosé Whitten Ranch) Light medium pink color with 1 millimeter clear meniscus; appealing, floral, very tart Rainier cherry, tart white grapefruit nose; tasty, medium bodied, tart white grapefruit, mineral palate with medium acidity; drinks more like a tart white wine than a rosé; medium-plus finish
