Community Tasting Notes 1

October 15, 2012 - Dark and aromatic. Nose shows focused notes of rich candied fig and black tea leaves. Palate shows pomegranate and black cherry up front, distinct notes of black tea in the middle, and clean mineral and mushroom on the rear. Medium body with smooth grip. Nice light richness as it opens up. All in all a good wine, but it may need some time to really shine.
