  April 13, 2020 - - Salmon color with medium forming legs - Still pleasant and drinkable for a Thai dinner. Berry and melon with a minerality - bit of petrol on the back but not overpowering. Nose will greet you with a hint of honey suckle but goes berry/cherry with a sip. Enjoy!

  September 21, 2011 - Caymus Vineyards Wine Dinner (Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Houston, TX): Strawberry, cherry, melon, and violets on the nose. Slightly fat and rich on the dry palate with moderate acidity and some minerality. Medium-plus bodied for a rosé. A pleasant quaffer.

  June 21, 2011 - I didnt catch the year of this one--Im assuming it is a 2009 or 10 bc it was so new it hadnt made it on the wine list yet.
  
  I loved, loved the aromatics in this wine, what a beauty. 'Oeilde Perdrix' refers to the traditional French process of rose production for Pinot grapes. the colorwas slightly salmon with the rosiness. tons of ripestrawberry aroma and cranberry. med +acid on palate,very dry with mineral and orange zesty flavors. a great very dry and pretty wine, the palate reflects berry flavors. the aromas in this are really beautiful.
