Community Tasting Notes 10

March 10, 2024 - Delicate Nose with some tobacco leaves, red fruit and forest floor.
Definitely past its prime (from a half bottle) but holding together quite well, as many 2003 bdx.
Good for the mushroom sauce with saddle of veal.

April 24, 2013 - Clear cherry red. In the nose, nice notes of Cabernet Franc, some green pepper and fresh tobacco as well as red berries (red currant, raspberry), some sour cherry as well as blackberry. Nicely fruity, rather simple, but super clean, precise and with hints of elegance and seduction. On the palate, this is fairly light, nicely transparent, fruity. Not too complex, rather short in the finish, but very good to drink. A food wine par excellence.

October 18, 2011 - Cherry, spice and mint scent. Medium body, lingonberry, licorice, chocolate and cedar forest taste. Ample fine tannins and a medium to short finish. Healthy acidity, a good food wine.

March 29, 2011 - Consistent with my note on 1/23/11. A 2003 vintage wine that tastes like the 2007 vintage.
