  March 19, 2014 - Howell Mountain Spring Wine Tasting. Open nose of dark fruit, dusty earth, and red cherry fruit, more of the same on the palate, medium body, tasty, nice fruit but needs more concentration and ripeness, medium finish, at $65 Retail not for me.

  March 30, 2013 - On first open it was earthy but lush, a bit light on body since I was eating rob eye steak but as I continued, the complexity of the wine drew me in. Peppery berry with hints of the Howell mtn dirt. Excellent wine very drinkable now!
