Stone fruit with strong mineral undertone. Thick on the palate with a slight oily texture, not in a bad way. Was better with food than alone. -

October 11, 2014 - This has a big, pretty nose of white flowers and honey, but the texture is totally off - attack is viscous and verging on cloying, mid palate is an oil-water mess of floral goup and clean minerals, and the finish is alcoholic. Showed its weaknesses even more on the second day, when what fruit was there was gone. A disappointment from a producer whose wines I have enjoyed and hope to enjoy more next time.
