May 12, 2012 - Taken as past prmie, this was excellent. Deep, rich color, great nose, smooth from start to finish. Wish I had moer!

January 4, 2012 - Flawed. Cork was disintegrating despite the wine having been cellared.

July 10, 2010 - Wow...for the price I am very happy! I drank the bottle over the course of 5+ hours. As it opened up, it got even better. Lots of coffee and raspberry, with some chocolate. Started with a high amount of alcohol, which blew off over time. Paired wonderfully with ribeye and brandy peppercorn sauce. Not much oak.A little bit of vanilla presented over time.

November 13, 2008 - Much better than the last bottle. This definitely needed time in cellar to resolve all that oakiness. This bottle was balanced with dark chocolate and coffee notes, dry and full on the palate and a good match with a middle eastern lamb stew.

February 10, 2008 - Tasted a bit harsh and rough. Nose was very weak and did not have a lasting smell. Tasted slightly bitter.
