July 23, 2020 - Blueberry fruit and violet (I don’t think I’ve ever detected so much beautiful blueberry fruit in a wine like this before). I also get some some bing cherry along with chocolate and coffee. I love the intense, sweet flavors of the fruit here. Not profound, but still very delightful. I was sad to hit the end of the bottle. Too tannic on day 1, but better on day 2 (and better in the Zalto all-purpose than in the Sommeliers Bordeaux glass). Needs lots of air. I think this would have been better with additional bottle age. Very good, especially for the price. I wish I had some more bottles so that I could check on development. Great Bordeaux blend from Walla Walla.

November 15, 2019 - Tannins are not fully resolved, otherwise a very nice wine from L’Ecole. Dark fruits—black currant, maybe blueberry, and a hint of vanilla. If I had more I’d wait another year or two at least. Drinks above it’s weight class for sure.

October 13, 2018 - Dark purple color, aromas of dark fruit, mild cedar and spice. Blackberry and mascerated cherry, with a chocolate mocha finish. Wine is definitely not better from here, good wine, but not great.
