Community Tasting Notes 1

August 24, 2006 - Medium ruby to light pink at rim. I get a red current, purfume and berry nose with a touch of menthol. It seems a bit heavy with a touch of alcohol – most likely a result of the vintage. Forward, rich and juicy on the palate. This is heavy / exotic burgundy that finishes a bit bitter and short. Not that this is bad, because it isn’t. It just isn’t typical nor profound. (14.5)
