January 6, 2024 - Short note - brioche, ripe lemon, red apples, chalk, oysters, floral notes, autolyse, hint of butter, quite complex, medium+ acidity, long finish, very concentrated, fine mousse, outstanding quality, very drinkable and also complex and interesting. 93p

November 20, 2023 - Lot 13/2 No 23 Disgorged 03/2018
Expressive nose. Core of yellow apple and lemon. Cooked apple nuance. Rich, honeyed nougat. A whiff of smoke and a mineral note. A savoury mushroom touch. Incredible intensity on the palate with high but softened acidity. The finish on this wine is incredible with fantastic persistence. Pure precision. Absolutely delicious. Very accessible now but no rush.
WSET notes:
Medium gold. Fine mousse.
Pronounced on the nose with yellow apple, cooked apple, lemon, nougat, brioche, mushroom, honey, caramel, smoke and wet stone. Developing.
Pronounced and dry on the palate. High acidity, medium minus body, medium alcohol, long alcohol.
Can drink now but has potential for aging. -

July 23, 2023 - Paired with girolle tagliatelle at home. Disgorged 2018. This was excellent. My first-ever bottle of this cult Champagne lives up to the hype. Brioche and white pear notes with steely acidity and a long austere finish of lemon. 94/100

March 19, 2023 - Rich golden color. A real treat and experience. Very esoteric nose, oily, steely, minerally with fertilizer notes. The palate showed a really unique terroir, mushroomy, bloomy, with hints of canned lemon, macerated citrus.
