    June 3, 2020 - 2009 & 2011 Side By Side over two days
2011 - Nice racy acidity, more herbal notes but still nice coffee and chocolate as well. A pleasant surprise but I would drink now.
2009 - Similar flavors but more body, structure and grip with a more pronounced nose. Seemed younger that the 2011 and still has life and potential for development.

March 8, 2019 - decanted was a great call as needs time to open with soft tannins and deep color. Some earthy notes as well

August 7, 2016 - P&P. Started out with over the top sour cherry with very noticeable tannins on the finish. Light to Medium in weight. Was not a fan but this wine grew on me. The sour cherry and tannins eased and a nice earthiness/old-world-funk started to come through. At the end of the first glass and the second glass this wine changed my mind and I rather enjoyed it. Still was not very complex on either the nose or palate.

Went surprisingly well with the quinoa pilaf and grilled shrimp.

May 29, 2016 - Cleaner than the PUR 201!, more Burgundian.

April 21, 2015 - 89-90. Startling juiciness against a tight granite backdrop. Black tea, tart cherries, and just juicy juicy juicy. Bistro wine done to perfection: at once both worthy of reflection and chuggable with a chill.

Great now, but will go years, easy.
