September 5, 2010 - I think this bottling has a cork problem. The cork does not smell musty per se, but the wine's nose is muted and a bit musty. Flavors are fine.

November 13, 2009 - OK. Lots of concentrated fruit, but needs more acid and structure. Lacks secondary notes. A little disappointing.

September 19, 2008 - Clos des Papes Offline: VA nose, very acetone. Seems less sweet than the 03/04/05 Clos des papes despite 100g/l RS! Hmm, something really not right here. Unclean and really a bit yuck.

September 9, 2006 - Delicious but not as concentrated as I would like.

April 17, 2006 - Not bad, but really just a over ripe zin. It would have been better if they fortified this. Rather simple and very fruit forward, the finish was a bit lacking in length. Don't think I'd buy this one again.
