January 1, 2023 - nutty, fully developed. marmalade, raisins, toasted hazelnuts, honey & honeycomb. Some bitter streak on the finish, but still taut and balanced. Excellent stuff, but time to drink up. Remarkable.

May 21, 2022 - dark amber in glass, lifted marmalade, savoury soysauce. Balanced sweetness, silky structure, with streak of citrus pith bitter. More dried fruit, dessicated blood orange, beeswax, gentle and nicely matured. Butterscotch and salted caramel biscuits. sustained finish. Took about 1 week of really open up. Drinking at peak now. yummy!

July 13, 2020 - gentle golden color, enough acidity but sweet finish, touches of botrytis, dried fruits, buttery caramel, paired quite well with kardinaal schnitt

February 24, 2018 - (Dinner w Terence, Meiting & Elaine) fresh, vibrant bottle, same notes as previous, pairing beautifully with the homemade ngoh-hiong, and melt-in-mouth clay pot chicken rice!

February 22, 2018 - (Sydney Brunner in Sg) Marmalade, pineapple jam, dry honeysuckle, hints jasmine and linden, fresh baked butter cookies, hints orange blossom. Aged, certainly, with elegant creme brulee, butterscotch and gula melaka, lifted with citrus pith, lime florals and baked ginger-lime curd. Acid-sweetness balance is effortless, young and fresh, taut! Long lingering glow of royal jelly. Oh so fun, drinking in a great place right now.
