  May 12, 2019 - We don't drink Roja much, it reminds me of our trip to Spain as summer. This is a 10 year old bottle - it has held up well - color, clarity and body (light) are all good. This is a dry wine, nothing up front but brings a little flavor middle to end. It has some complexity as the flavors change - First berry, then dried fruit, fig, the finish is subtle and nice.

  P: LM, maybe even Lt, body; Nice, almost swtish frt met by a very, VERY slightly astringent acidity which loses virtually all the astringency by the fairly LONG, tangy finish with just a HINT of swtness. FULLY mature & really quite elegant, though I'd drink any remaining bottles during '19 just to be on the safe side. My EXC-, PARTICULARLY when one considers the $7.99 COSTCO special that it cost me a ways back. 13.5% ABV; 89 pts WS, 87 WE @ $19, and 85 Wine & Spiritis.
