  February 17, 2018 - Starts off slow, initial bouquet was musty. The wine is very dark purple/red with a fruit and earth taste. As the wine opened the acidity and tannins took effect and the flavour solidified ... did not finish as strong as some other super tuscans but well worth a try.

  July 9, 2015 - From magnum at a lunch gathering. Dark garnet, a rather big wine but well made. Earth, dark berries, tannins integrated. Medium finish. Well done and no rush to finish those.

  February 1, 2014 - Dark garnet color. Medium body. Very reserved in flavor, but nonetheless both complex and quite tasty on the palate, with licorice, black fruit, and forest floor. This is a well-balanced, classic, almost old-fashioned wine; mild, smooth, easily drinkable. Rather unexpected in a "supertuscan blend."
