January 5, 2023 - A lovely wine. The bouquet isn’t as impressive as I have come to expect from Baumard Savenniers. It is always subtle to be sure yet this seems reticent. The flavours however are engaging; merengue, dried apricots and, subtly, miso. I like this very much. I am normally a Champagne person with caviar but this would be terrific.

November 27, 2021 - Weird wine with a viscosity while also being dry. Lanolin and honey on the nose. Same on the palate with medium acidity. Paired with Chicken piccata which went very well but not a wine I would open often.

October 30, 2021 - Robe verdâtre dorée. Vin complexe sur des arômes de cire, pétrole, poire et minéral. Légèrement oxydé, je m’attendais à un vin plus rond et moins vif.

July 16, 2020 - A ripe peach syrup nose with and waxy golden apple elements on the palate, yet a little lighter on it's feet and more crisp and shorter finish than the Joly style. A very nice wine for the style and a good more serious summer wine and a good value for the price.

June 15, 2020 - Cf. the CellarTracker Article link [lower lft] to get specific info for this vintage, including acclaim.

    Private Preserve after Day 1

N: Slightly closed; Fragrant flowers with a creamy aspect & something I can't quite I.D.: minerals with hints of funk?

P: Med, poss MF, body; RNDISH entry with NICE frt met by firming acidity which fairly seamlessly evolves into a LONG, pleasant finish with a palate cleansing acidity. As it warmed it became MARKEDLY > unctuous/mouth-coating. Nonetheless, I'd describe it as remaining tight over the 90 or so mins it was tasted! While I'm certain it's not at all "tired", neither do I have a feel for what kind of future to predict for it, though I'm guessing through '25 or so "safely"? [And my 2 bottles have had FAR < "ideal" storage virtually ever since purchase in Sept '16. :( ]
Day 5: Aromas of apples & lanolin, + something (beeswax?) I can't quite I.D.; A touch of forest floor as it warms?
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, today almost swtish frt firmed by a crisp acidity which pushes the agenda through the quite LONG, palate cleansing, but ult very pleasant finish. This has endured almost UNBELIEVABLY since Day 1! Hopefully I can save bottle #2/2 for something (perhaps in a Cr Sauce?) as opposed to tonight's Grilled Tilapia & TJ's Rice Risotto.
∑: Drink this tour de force Chenin through '25, & based upon what it showed Day 5, it would VERY likely benefit from a decant! 13.5% ABV; My EXC-/EXC (90-93/100, using that metric), trending towards the higher for its uniqueness. [As of early Jul '20, wine-searcher still shows 1 source @ $50].
