October 10, 2013 - Didn't knock my socks off, but not because it was too tannic or overly alcoholic. Tasty, with decent fruit, but somehow lacked any "wow" factor, and given the price, I might pass on this one. Would have been recommended at ~$25. Sure paired well with chicken and sausage/mushroom casserole though......thanks dad!

June 27, 2013 - Disappointing. I agree with another reviewer. The wine is stiff and the fruit does not come through like it should with a zinfandel. I am going to let the other two bottles sit for a while in the hope that they evolve.

January 7, 2013 - Sadly, not very good. Just way too big on the alcohol - unwieldy. Have 3 more, so hope that it gains some structure. Massive fruit in there.
