January 19, 2024 - When first opened, didn't have much on the nose, and actually seemed likely to be faulty. Poured clear, slightly browned. With times (~2-3 hours) bad smells blew off, revealing sour cherries and wet earth aromas. More sour cherries on the palate, with rhubarb and a hint of marzipan. Lovely balancing acidity.

November 14, 2023 - Clay rim with a burgundy colour. After a little time notes come out in the nose. Beautiful rose petal and perfume. A flower bouquet very sophisticated finished with a cherry compote. Old world flavours on this 13 year old Isole and it is at its peak, so if you are like me and have a few bottles drink right now. Room is tea leaves and cedar that’s been sitting in a cigar humidor. I mean it…go and get them now!

May 26, 2023 - An opaque ruddy-hued garnet. An effusive nose of tomato leaf, tobacco, baking spices, dried blueberries. Medium-bodied, supple, the midpalate has a harmonious mix of red fruits, baking spices and earth, a lovely acid spine drawing through the palate, some fine tannins remain, and a tobacco and mineral finish. In a nice place with some tertiary evolution, a balanced, digestible and delicious Chianti Classico.

January 27, 2023 - Solid Chianti, better than previous bottle. Light red, clear colour. Sour cherry nose. Light to mid weight palate. Sour cherries again on the palate.

April 26, 2022 - It's okay. Not the best Chianti Classico, but okay. Drank at 12 years old, I don't think it'll get any better.
