  May 29, 2022 - Now I know why I purchase and cellar these wine for 10 plus years. Gorgeous Syrah that would stand up well against the best wines from the Rhone Valley. No need to hurry if you have some but it's delightful right now. Expressive nose, silky texture, delicious wine from Sonoma County. Enjoyed with Grilled Salmon, might be better paired with a good Steak accompaniment. Absolutely au pointe. Wish I had more.

  March 27, 2021 - No new CT reviews since '14? WHAT? This is a fantastic California syrah with some delightful secondary development but while at peak or close to it, it's not yet mature, not even close, so it's hard to understand why I'm one of the only people to hang onto one till now. Great youthful color. Lavish aromas pop out of the glass and it's equally exuberant on the palate with dark cherry, plum and an undercurrent of tar and herb.

  December 12, 2014 - Oh the aromas... Olives, rendered pancetta, smoke, roasted herbs, spice and lovely dark fruits. Like my friend said, "I want to jump into the glass!" Then the palate, soaring gorgeous dark fruit, a melange of savory notes like black olives, herbs, pepper and anise. Everything in harmony and balance. The mouthfeel is rich and elegant, finishes long and pure. Great wines are wines that have such an impact that you want to share it. Buy this. Share it. Love it!

  June 28, 2014 - WOW!! Great bottle. Lots of smoke, earth, gameiness. Tannins were mellow, but still present. Wish I had another bottle.
