Community Tasting Notes 2

December 4, 2012 - Smells and tastes like a much lighter Sauternes. Some floral and honey flavors, toastiness. Off-dry but not too notably sweet.

October 12, 2012 - Dark golden yellow. Interesting wine. Was expecting something dry and it was quite sweet; firmly demi-sec and borderline moelleux. Reminded me of an aged Vouvray. Typical chenin profile with rich honey notes, a little spice, smoke, and finished with a burnt sugar & citrus peel bitterness which was interesting. The only killer here is the lack of acidity which would have taken this to great places. Definitely hold for a few years at least before opening.
