This time a bit disappointing. Well stored bottle but not so fresh as usually. Difficult to detect as a Rose. Some elegant wild strawberry notes. Still bubbles and fine acidity. no oyster shell or toast notes. 93

Strange orange colour, could be a riped blanc champagne. It tastes like a Campari orange as some guys mentioned in the group, bitter almonds, red berries, a serious wine and not a sweet rose booze, it is more edged as I had in memory from last time. Good balance. At his peak. Still at the fresh side. Minimal aging signs. 94-95

March 17, 2013 - Dom Perignon dinner at L2O (Chicago, IL): 2007 disgorgement, 2011 release. The nose is like a Chambolle; lots of earthy tones to it -- the pinot noir really shows through here. Unbelievably long finish.
