January 28, 2024 - Drank first of two bottles from auction. On the way out, for sure, with pronounced acidity, but still enhanced Bolognese pasta dinner…. 2nd bottle addendum 2-3-24: Ditto with soup, salad, sandwiches.

May 21, 2016 - Tasting pour at the restaurant . I have really liked his Barolos in the past. One dimensional, had more bitterness and woody / stemmy characteristics than I personally like. I have had other 2011 Dolcettos that I prefer.

December 23, 2015 - rubino con riflessi purpurei, abbastanza carico, naso piacevolissimo di confettura di piccoli frutti rossi, lievi spezie dolci, burro fuso, quasi di porto; sorso netto, lungo e piacevolmente amaricante nel finale, si avvicina molto alla liquirizia con vibrazioni accessorie di violetta. Si ha l'impressione dell'abbraccio rassicurante di un piccolo classico, per chi ama questa varietà .
