April 10, 2017 - One of the better Scholium whites you can find. Very versatile. Good acidity props this up so it can be enjoyed with a variety of foods and by itself. Orchard fruits, honey, spice. This has a lot going on at a decent weight considering the alcohol. The acidity really balances it out though, so it does not drink heavy.

    October 14, 2016 - Cloudy yellow,
Vanilla, caramel, Swiss cheese, chocolate Orange nose. Apple on flavor. Acid plus, weight medium plus, Nice wine, but price is a little high in my opinion.

August 2, 2016 - I get the Porcini Abe mentions along with apple, balanced vanilla/butter from the oak, medium minerality and light acidity. Perhaps a bit tannic? The label says 15.74% but you'd never know. Drinking well now and I don't see it improving but it should last through its 10th birthday.

July 10, 2015 - Big and rich but with minerality. None of the oxidative notes that we got with the other recent Scholium Chardonnay. Very drinkable.

March 10, 2015 - Intoxicating. Stunning. Got better and better over two hours. Nose sweetened over the drinking window. Flavors intensified. There's a tinge of habaƱero with gobs of pineapple and a sliver of peach.

Do I really have another bottle of this?
